Falling

During the last few months I have been actively studying abstract painting and these are a few of my current works. This one called 'Falling' I hope will give you the feeling of weightlessness and decent from above.

Congested inner city

This is the 3rd finished painting in this series. With all of these paintings I've tried to keep the basic colors down to 3 or 4, in this case I used quin gold, iridescent russet and violet with a little touch of french ultramarine blue. I love color and it's really exciting to see how many different tones and hues you can make from such a small base. This painting I hope shows a bruegelesque feeling of the closeness of buildings and the claustrophobic nearness of people's lives.
